Our goal is to build stronger bonds with Whト]au, educators, the community and children.
We strongly believe that Nurturing starts from home. We scaffold the uniqueness of our children and strive to incorporate family values in order to respect and acknowledge the dual heritage of Aotearoa, New Zeeland and honour Te Tiriti O Waitangi. We value in providing an environment where children and their families from different ethnic, linguistic and socio-cultural backgrounds are respected and included. We follow Te Whariki which is embedded into our early childhood curriculum into everything we do, which is going to help children to grow into competent and confident learners with sound minds body and spirits in the sense of belonging and in the knowledge that makes a valued contribution to society.
All our educators are trained professionals who have a love and passion for childcare and education. Each child is assigned a qualified visiting ECE teacher who contacts each educator at least once a fortnight, visits each educator at least once a month and takes all reasonable steps each month to observe each child while that child is receiving education, care and implement Te Whaariki.
Each child has a programme journal in which daily information is recorded and reports are made to document each visit, which is then made available to keep parents informed of the child's progress via our e-portfolios. Our educators use specially designed formats as a way of keeping in consistent communication with families on their child's learning and development. Check out the phone casino.
